Project Cancellation Policy
How a Dream owner can cancel a project that already has collaborators.
This is a product policy draft. It is not final and is not legal advice. Settlement follows the accepted Collaboration Agreement and applicable platform policy.
When cancellation applies
A Dream with no accepted Hats Off, Pods, Podiums or agreements can be deleted. Once collaboration has started, the Dream can only be paused or cancelled through a cancellation case.
What happens
Cancellation opens a permanent case. The project is paused, contributors are notified, and each scheduled payment is classified as approved, submitted, started or not started.
After settlement the Dream and Podium become archived and read-only. Messages, files, submissions, agreements, receipts and audit history are never deleted.
Unresolved settlements
A Dream owner with an overdue unresolved settlement cannot start new paid collaboration until it is resolved. History and support remain available.
