Contributor Settlement Policy
How completed and in-progress work is treated when a project is cancelled.
This is a product policy draft. It is not final and is not legal advice. Settlement follows the accepted Collaboration Agreement and applicable platform policy.
Approved work
Approved milestones remain 100% payable to the contributor.
Submitted work
Submitted work awaiting review must be reviewed by the Dream owner within the review window (currently 72 hours). If it is not reviewed in time it is escalated for review. It is not automatically marked as paid.
Payments already made
Captured payments are never silently reversed. Payment status comes only from the payment provider, never from a button in the app.
Reputation
A project cancelled by the Dream owner is not counted as a contributor failure. Verified completed work may be shown as a partial outcome.
