Controls you have

Block anyone: they can no longer send you Hats Off or message you in a Pod.

Report a Hats Off or Pod for spam, harassment, scams, impersonation or anything else that feels wrong.

Make your profile private at any time from Settings.

How your spaces are protected

Pods and Podiums are private to their members and enforced by database access rules, not just the interface.

Files are stored in private storage and shared through short-lived links only with members.

Talvyn does not currently offer or claim end-to-end encryption. Pod and Podium messages and files are private to their members through access controls and encrypted in transit, but they are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted.

Staying safe

Be cautious with anyone who asks for money, passwords or personal documents.

Meet new collaborators in public or on video before sharing sensitive information.

Agree on credit and ownership in writing before starting significant work.
