What we collect

Account details you give us: email, display name, username and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored in Talvyn's own tables).

Profile content: headline, bio, location, passions, skills, availability, avatar and portfolio items.

Content you create: Dreams, Hats Off requests, Pod and Podium messages, tasks, milestones, files and Showcase posts.

Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as sign-in sessions and error logs.

How we use it

To run Talvyn: show your profile to other members when it is public, deliver Hats Off and notifications, and power search and suggestions.

Suggestions use simple, explainable rules (shared skills, interests and availability). We do not use AI matching or sell your data.

We use lightweight, privacy-conscious product events (for example, that a Dream was created) without message content or personal details.

Who can see what

Public profiles and public Showcase work are visible to signed-in members. Private profiles are visible only to you.

Pods are visible only to their two members. Podium chat, tasks, files and milestones are visible only to active Podium members.

Encryption: Talvyn does not currently offer or claim end-to-end encryption. Pod and Podium messages and files are private to their members through access controls and encrypted in transit, but they are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, switch it to private, archive or delete Showcase posts, and block other members.

Your data rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@talvyn.co.in. Account deletion removes your profile; records we must keep for legal or payment-audit reasons are retained as required by law.
